Mosaic Partnerships Program (formerly Biracial Partnerships) Kicks Off Phase IV Seeking Candidates for Coaches

Have you ever wished Rochester race relations were different? Would you like to play a role in making that happen?

This fall the Biracial Partnerships Program - newly renamed Mosaic Partnerships Program - is planning to roll out Phase IV for 350 participants. The program is supported by the City of Rochester and the Rochester Area Community Foundation and is being implemented by Odyssey of Humanity, a non-profit organization whose mission is creating prejudice-free zones.

Coaches will commit to facilitating a small group of partners in cluster group meetings every six weeks over the course of a year. Training is provided during two separate two-day training sessions, one at the beginning of the year and one midway through the year. The program needs 55- 60 coaches for Phase IV. If you are:

  • interested in improving race relations
  • comfortable in multicultural settings
  • experienced in facilitating groups
  • looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity
